Cecelia "Cele" Rose Perry, passed away on December 13, 2023, in Babb, Montana, at the age of 66. She was born on January 23, 1957, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Delores and George Bussmann. Cele was the loving wife of the late Mark Perry Sr., the love of her life.
As some of you know, Cele was a spirit that could not be contained. Before being a wife and a mother, she was a nurse. She loved being a nurse. Cele would often refer to her days nursing people back to health, bringing them joy and laughter as they healed. After her time in Minnesota, she moved to Montana where she met her husband, Mark Perry Sr. and they started their life together.
She pursued her love of English, and after obtaining her Bachelors' Degree, went on to Graduate school, where she was working to obtain her PhD in Independent Studies, with a focus on Bi-Racial Relations.
As a wife, mother, sister, and friend, Cele was a force to be reckoned with. She loved hard, she laughed often, she stood for what was right, and made sure we were all moving through life knowing that we were important, that we were loved, and that God was first and had a plan for each of us.
Cele will be dearly missed by her daughters, Debra (Frank Jr.) Flowers, Laura Perry, Jane Perry, and her sons, Mark Perry Jr. and Isaac Perry. Her grandchildren, Ebony (Devon) Flowers-Green, DeAndre Perry, Mark Flowers, and Stetson Perry. She is also survived by her three brothers, James, Tony, and George Bussmann.
Cele was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Mark Perry Sr., as well as her mother, Delores Bussmann, father, George Bussmann, and brothers, John and Paul Bussmann and great grandchild, Chase Green.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2024 in Babb, Montana, to honor and remember Cele's life and legacy.
