He was the beloved son of Joseph Duane Trombley and Annette Wells, and he passed away at the age of 47. He was a proud graduate of Heart Butte High School, and he went on to build a career as an Oil Rig Worker and Meat Cutter, a testament to his work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. Joey was a loving father to his five children, Joey D. Trombley Jr, Sheyenee Trombley, Justine Trombley, and Julia Trombley, Autumn Wells Trombley (raised and adopted). His devotion to his children knew no bounds, and he found his greatest joy in the time he spent with them, teaching them life's valuable lessons and creating cherished memories.

Joey was a brother to Joel Trombley, Joseph Trombley Jr., and Cecil Calf Boss Ribs. Their bond ran deep, offering mutual support and a source of strength throughout their lives. The Trombley family was known for its tight-knit connection, and Joey was at the heart of this loving clan.
